Privacy policy

Effective October 22, 2026.

This site is run by John Jenkins as The Bearded Roofer, a personal brand. This page explains what information the site collects and how it is used.

What we collect

When you fill out a form, use the chat, book a time, or sign up for the newsletter, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, email address, address or town, photos you send, and your message. The site also records basic visit data such as pages viewed, the device and browser, and the page that sent you here.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your request, schedule a roof look, send the guide you asked for, and follow up about your request. If you give permission, we may call, text, or email you. If you join the newsletter, we send occasional roofing tips. We do not sell your information.

Who handles it

Forms, chat, scheduling, and messaging run on GoHighLevel. Booking may use Google Calendar. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. These providers handle data for us under their own terms and privacy policies.

Texts, calls, and email

Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out and use the unsubscribe link in any email. Opting out stops marketing messages. We keep a record of your opt-out so we do not contact you again.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information, or opt out of messages, by calling or texting (843) 345-0319 or emailing the address on this site. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Security and children

We use reputable providers and limit access, but no system is perfectly secure. This site is not meant for children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
